Creativity is the purest, most transparent expression of a woman’s soul, and a woman’s true soul is a beautiful and sacred thing.
But for some ridiculous reason, most of us learned, at an early age, to hide our true souls and present something else to the world instead. Most of us were taught, through various means, that it’s not safe to use our true voices, to be our unguarded selves, or to offer the world our personal treasures. Creativity became, for many of us, not a blazing fire, but a puny pilot light, barely glowing in the deepest basement of our hidden selves.
How wrong we all have been!
Voca Femina exists to give courage and inspiration to us all. To amplify the female voice, to stoke the creative fire in all of us, for the sake of our souls, and for the soul of the world.
We’re here to start a creative revolution!
With that in mind, we offer Voca Blogita, our “little voice blog.” A place for some weekly inspiration, a boost of courage, or even an occasional kick in the pants. Here you’ll find a few quotes, some thoughts, and some questions to keep you on the road toward using your creativity to beautify the world. Please dialogue with us as we embark together on our creative adventures.
Tune in weekly, leave a comment or two, and join the conversation. Let’s do this creative thing together, shall we?

This sounds like a fun place for fanning the flame to stay in flow longer.
I’ve needed this many times along my creative journey and will love being inspired by this community. I’m curious to learn what personal approaches different artists have to their creativity…so would love to hear from others on this space about that over time.
